If you are in a position to donate before or during the event, every dollar makes a difference, particularly during these difficult times. And, thanks to the generosity of Joey’s Song, all funds donated on the DSF website go directly to supporting DSF and our mission to aggressively raise funds for Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies; to support and fund research; increase awareness; and to provide support to affected individuals and families.

Joey’s Song was started in 2010 following the death of 5 year old Joey Gomoll. Joey suffered from a rare and debilitating form of epilepsy known as Dravet syndrome. While Dravet syndrome robbed Joey of the ability to speak, Joey remained a happy and fun loving child. He was happiest when music was playing, allowing him to hum, drum and sing in his own way. To be present when music was playing meant only one thing, that Joey would soon have you dancing and enjoying the music with him.

Special thanks to Zogenix for sponsoring this event and supporting the Dravet syndrome community. For questions on the event, please contact Misty.
