We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership that will bring our resources in front of The Mighty‘s wide-reaching readership. We will now have a growing home page on The Mighty and appear on many stories on the site.
The Mighty is a story-based health community focused on improving the lives of people facing disease, disorder, mental illness and disability. More than half of Americans are facing serious health conditions or medical issues. They want more than information. They want to be inspired. The Mighty publishes real stories about real people facing real challenges.
We’re dedicated to helping people with Dravet syndrome in their lives. With this partnership, we’ll be able to help even more people.
We encourage you to submit a story to The Mighty and make your voice heard.

Many companies offer matching gift programs through which they match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Corporate matching gifts can double or sometimes triple your contribution to DSF. Download our list of corporations that offer charitable gift matching or check with your Human Resources department. If your employer offers this benefit, your Human Resources department will be able to provide you with a matching gift form. Complete this form and mail or email it to:

We will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company, which will then issue a matching gift contribution to DSF. DSF is registered as a tax-exempt public charity by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3). Our tax identification number is 27-0924627.

Planned Giving provides donors with the ability to support nonprofit associations and charities by arranging for gifts to be made through financial or estate planning. This practice enables donors to make charitable gifts now and establishes provisions for gifts that will continue after their lifetimes. Email Jamie for more information.
DSF hosts a private support group for parents on FB. If you would like to connect with other families locally and from around the world, this is a great place to ask questions about living with Dravet syndrome. DSF has also recently started a Dravet Family Network for parents (US only) that also includes regional support groups and Ambassadors. The purpose of these groups will be to share local updates regarding doctors and therapy options, events & fundraisers and to be able to share knowledge about the resources available in your state. DSF is also planning to host an annual “Day for Dravet” in each region with educational seminars and meetups for families.
