We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership that will bring our resources in front of The Mightys wide-reaching readership. We will now have a growing home page on The Mighty and appear on many stories on the site.

The Mighty is a story-based health community focused on improving the lives of people facing disease, disorder, mental illness and disability. More than half of Americans are facing serious health conditions or medical issues. They want more than information. They want to be inspired. The Mighty publishes real stories about real people facing real challenges.

We’re dedicated to helping people with Dravet syndrome in their lives. With this partnership, we’ll be able to help even more people.

We encourage you to submit a story to The Mighty and make your voice heard.

DSF hosts a private support group for parents on FB. If you would like to connect with other families locally and from around the world, this is a great place to ask questions about living with Dravet syndrome. DSF also runs the DSF Family Network for parents (US only) that also includes regional support groups and Ambassadors. These regional groups share updates regarding local doctors and therapy options, events & fundraisers, and a chance to share knowledge about the resources available in your state. As part of the DSF Family network, we offer an annual Day for Dravet workshop in each region with educational seminars and meetups for families.

If our son has to live life with this devastating diagnosis, I want people to know his name and see his face. I want others to know how strong he is and how hard he fights! My mission in life is to do this through raising funds and awareness for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation. Without fundraising we have no research. Without research we have no hope.

The Ried Family

We received our toddler’s DS diagnosis relatively quickly in our journey so we used that momentum (and support from friends and family) to launch into a fundraiser. It’s what our family needed in a time when so many other needs were not being met The DSF Fundraiser Group was so receptive to our idea and provided so much support along the way.

The Reoyo Family

Often in our everyday lives, people around us truly want to help. They just do not know how to help. With Double Down for Dravet, I feel like friends and family get to help in a way that they understand.

Leslie Bubela

Volunteering with the Dravet Syndrome Foundation makes me feel like I am doing something to help my son in his fight against Dravet syndrome.

The Dominguez Family

Raising funds for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation helps us feel less helpless. We’re helping Lucy and helping others, and we’re constantly reminded of the love that surrounds us all.

Melissa Crowder Rhoden

Hosting a fundraiser for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation helps to bring our community together for a great day of fun, it helps to raise awareness for this rare and devastating form of epilepsy and it gives our family hope that someday a cure will be found.

Beth Fox

Fundraising with the Dravet Syndrome Foundation lets us be proactive when dealing with a diagnosis that can be so unpredictable. The more people that know what Dravet Syndrome is, the more people there are to help raise money for research.

The Bubela Family

Host a Private Event

By hosting a private fundraising event to benefit DSF, you can raise funds for research, while also increasing the public’s awareness of Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies. There are countless events that you can host, from a dinner party, to a golf tournament, to donating proceeds from sales.
