Are you looking for a way to truly have an impact on the future of Dravet syndrome? DSF is currently seeking professional, committed individuals who are passionate about finding a cure for Dravet syndrome for their Board of Directors.
Board positions are a voluntary, three-year term that can be served from anywhere in the United States. Board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization towards a sustainable future. They will be actively engaged with the Foundation throughout their term, including attendance at events, fundraising, and participation during board calls.
Ideal board candidates should have prior volunteer involvement with DSF; attended DSF educational or fundraising events; contributed financially to the support of DSF; and have an active voice or role within the Dravet syndrome community. Previous board experience is also helpful, but not required.
Applicants interested in serving as a board member should first read and understand the expectations and rules of Board Membership at this link. Completed applications must be submitted before July 31, 2021 at Midnight EST for review for board positions that will formally begin in April 2022.
If you have questions or would like more specifics about the role of a board member, please email Kate Hintz, DSF Board President.
