Research and new treatments continue to move forward in the field of Dravet syndrome. With the postponement of our 2020 conference due to the pandemic, we wanted to offer a virtual learning opportunity to bridge the gap until we can meet again in person next year at Cook Children’s Medical Center.

The live presentations at DSF’s 2021 virtual conference will center on treatments and new research. We will also offer an on-demand series of videos on a variety of topics relating to caregiver concerns. Live presentations will be recorded and those along with our on-demand videos will be available to registered participants through September 30, 2021. Participants will also receive an electronic tote bag, with downloadable information from our event sponsors on new products and programs, upcoming clinical trials, and more.

This year’s virtual conference kicks off the evening of Thursday, June 24, with a special 90 minute session for parents with a presentation on a recent study regarding quality of life for patients and their families, followed by a Q&A with a panel of adult sibs who will share their stories and experiences; Friday, June 25, our sessions focus on clinical care; and Saturday, June 26, we will be focused on all of the latest research in the field of Dravet syndrome. Friday and Saturday evenings, we will offer virtual lounges where conference attendees can join to chat with old friends and meet new friends.

For our siblings, we will have two special Super Sibling sessions they can participate in. On Friday, they can join for a virtual, all-ages movie viewing in the afternoon, and on Saturday they can participate in a virtual Escape Room Challenge (for 3 different age groups) followed by a dance party.

All of this for only a $25 registration fee for your entire family. The conference is available to families worldwide. You can find more details on the event, including speakers and agenda, at www.dsfconference.org. Register today!
