Julie de Lara is offering up her homemade gourmet preserves to friends and family when they make a donation to DSF in honor of her son Michael. What a delicious way to raise money and awareness for our cause!
In honor of her sister, Kennedy, Reagan asked for money to be donated to DSF in lieu of presents for her 6th birthday. Thanks to her and the generosity of her guests, DSF was able to award an iPad to a child through our Patient Assitance Grant Program.
Trinity’s 5th grade classmates and teacher Abby Craft planned and organized an event at Olander Elementary where they gave a short presentation on Dravet syndrome. Teacher Lara Becker of John Hersey High School reports that Kailyn Beitzel gave an exemplary speech to her classmates about DSF, Dravet syndrome, and how the students could help. DSF was chosen as the classroom’s charity of choice and a donation was made in memory of Scott Crossland.
