Emilee is a 7th grader where she is on the Principal’s Honor Roll. She enjoys singing, reading, writing, musical theater and art. Hanging out with friends is also a favorite pastime.
For her Bat Mitzvah project, Emilee chose to raise money for DSF in honor of her cousin Talia who has Dravet syndrome. This isn’t the first time Emilee raised money for DSF. At age 11 she made jewelry and origami pieces to sell at school to her friends where she was able to raise several hundred dollars. For this project she made sachets in different fragrances (rose, lavender and lemon) and asked her aunt and grandmother to be her East Coast distributors. Her sales yielded over $1,000 for DSF!
Thank you, Emilee for your tireless efforts in fundraising and spreading awareness of Dravet syndrome on behalf of DSF.
